Why list it now

The next nut in the cup.

Pistachio and macadamia have shown how quickly a premium nut moves from niche to menu standard. Pine nuts bring the same creaminess, a distinctive resinous aroma and a story that tells itself on the shelf.

01 · Category

A hot drink without caffeine or cocoa

Between coffee, tea and drinking chocolate the shelf lacks a creamy alternative without caffeine. The pine nut drink fills exactly that gap: for the afternoon, the evening and for guests who do not drink coffee.

02 · Recipe

51% pine nuts, four ingredients

The Plain variety consists of ground pine nuts, starch syrup, coconut oil and milk protein. No flavourings, no colourings, no added crystal sugar: 6 g of sugar per 100 g of powder, about 1.5 g per cup.

03 · Handling

Water or milk, no machine

Stirred in the cup, in a thermos flask or in a French press. No portafilter, no frother required. One pouch makes about ten cups and reseals with a zipper.

Two varieties

Plain all year round, Spiced for the cold season.

Both varieties share the base of 51% pine nuts. The Spiced variety adds cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and turmeric and positions itself alongside chai and winter drinks. Switch between front and back of pack.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the pine nut hot drink

What is the M97 Factory pine nut hot drink?

A drink powder based on 51% ground pine nuts that is stirred into hot water or hot milk to make a creamy, caffeine-free hot beverage. Two varieties are available: Plain and Spiced (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, turmeric). Both come in a 250 g resealable stand-up pouch.

How is the drink prepared?

Add 3 to 5 teaspoons (about 22 to 25 g) to 200 ml of hot water or hot milk. The liquid should be 80 to 90 °C and must not boil. Stir well and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. A thermos flask intensifies the aroma; a French press separates the residue.

How many cups does one pouch make?

At 22 to 25 g per cup, the 250 g pouch yields about 10 to 11 servings of 200 ml each.

Is the product caffeine-free and vegetarian?

Yes. The drink contains no caffeine and works all day, including in the evening. It is vegetarian. It contains milk protein and is therefore not vegan.

Which allergens does it contain?

Milk (milk protein). Pine nuts are not among the 14 major allergens that require labelling in the EU. The full ingredient list is printed on the label and listed in the specifications on this page.

What are the trade terms?
