A hot drink without caffeine or cocoa
Between coffee, tea and drinking chocolate the shelf lacks a creamy alternative without caffeine. The pine nut drink fills exactly that gap: for the afternoon, the evening and for guests who do not drink coffee.
The first hot drink powder made from 51% ground pine nuts: creamy like a latte, caffeine-free like cocoa, ready in two minutes with water or milk. Two varieties for the coffee aisle, delicatessen and HoReCa: Plain, and Spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and turmeric.
Pistachio and macadamia have shown how quickly a premium nut moves from niche to menu standard. Pine nuts bring the same creaminess, a distinctive resinous aroma and a story that tells itself on the shelf.
Between coffee, tea and drinking chocolate the shelf lacks a creamy alternative without caffeine. The pine nut drink fills exactly that gap: for the afternoon, the evening and for guests who do not drink coffee.
The Plain variety consists of ground pine nuts, starch syrup, coconut oil and milk protein. No flavourings, no colourings, no added crystal sugar: 6 g of sugar per 100 g of powder, about 1.5 g per cup.
Stirred in the cup, in a thermos flask or in a French press. No portafilter, no frother required. One pouch makes about ten cups and reseals with a zipper.
Both varieties share the base of 51% pine nuts. The Spiced variety adds cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and turmeric and positions itself alongside chai and winter drinks. Switch between front and back of pack.
Mild, nutty, with the typical slightly resinous note of pine nuts. Prepared with milk it becomes a full latte without coffee; with water a light, creamy cup at around 100 kcal.
The pine nut base with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and turmeric. Warm and spicy like a chai, but without tea and without caffeine. The candidate for autumn and Christmas placements.
The preparation as printed on the label, the way staff in food service and customers at home follow it. Only the temperature matters: hot, but not boiling.
One powder, one step, three drinks with a premium price point. None need an espresso machine, all are caffeine-free and sell until closing time. To avoid residue, prepare the base in a French press.
All figures match the label of the shipping samples. Case and pallet dimensions, minimum order quantity and purchase prices are provided with the product passport on request.

A cup made with 25 g of powder in water therefore comes to about 100 kcal (Plain) or 98 kcal (Spiced), without milk.
The 250 g pouch fits the secondary placement next to coffee and drinking chocolate as well as the beverage menu. For the Spiced variety we recommend a season start in October.
A drink powder based on 51% ground pine nuts that is stirred into hot water or hot milk to make a creamy, caffeine-free hot beverage. Two varieties are available: Plain and Spiced (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, turmeric). Both come in a 250 g resealable stand-up pouch.
Add 3 to 5 teaspoons (about 22 to 25 g) to 200 ml of hot water or hot milk. The liquid should be 80 to 90 °C and must not boil. Stir well and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. A thermos flask intensifies the aroma; a French press separates the residue.
At 22 to 25 g per cup, the 250 g pouch yields about 10 to 11 servings of 200 ml each.
Yes. The drink contains no caffeine and works all day, including in the evening. It is vegetarian. It contains milk protein and is therefore not vegan.
